The GM Water Series Ion Exchange Duplex Softener System is designed for the efficient and continuous removal of hardness (calcium and magnesium ions) from raw water, ensuring a consistent supply of soft water for critical industrial, pharmaceutical, and utility applications.

This system operates on the proven ion exchange resin technology, where hardness-causing ions in the feed water are exchanged with sodium ions present in the resin bed. In the series duplex configuration, two softener vessels are connected in series to deliver ultra-low hardness levels, making the system ideal for applications requiring stringent hardness control.

The duplex arrangement ensures uninterrupted soft water supply—while one softener is in service, the other can be taken offline for automatic regeneration, thereby eliminating downtime and ensuring continuous operation. Regeneration is carried out using brine (sodium chloride) solution, with fully automatic control to optimize salt and water consumption.

The complete system is available in FRP / MSRL / MS vessels based on application requirements and is mounted on a compact skid for easy installation and low footprint. The system can be provided in manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic PLC-controlled configurations, depending on the level of automation required.
